My goal as your next JARC person is to serve as an advocate for students academic needs and on the Committee of Academic Review – which is in charge of approving classes and academic policies. I also want to be a resource to you all, whether it is helping you in the process of petitioning for study abroad or a self-design major, or answering your questions about policies or policy changes from the Dean of Students, in academics, or the judicial review process.
I am running for this position because I want to be able to make a positive difference in academic policies so that all of our needs are met. I also want to be able to give back to this community that has been so welcoming to me since I arrived. I have had so many upperclassmen help point me in the right direction on campus, or recommend professors I should take, and I want to be able to be a resource as well.
Voting begins at 9am on April 4th and closes at 9am April 6th. So please make sure you go vote.
And I hope you all stay healthy and well!
